Important Information

PLEASE READ ME

I do not lower prices if you choose to skip out on lashes or want only eye makeup. My prices are determined based on my time, products, and skills. This also means my prices may increase as the years of my artistry grows due to my constant upgrades in my kit and my acquired skills. I will let my clients know beforehand before changing my prices.

Please note : Lashes that are trimmed and applied to client's eyes will be charged even if client decides to not keep them. If other clients/guests would like to purchase false lashes application that is fine also and will be charged $10 per lashes.

Where am you located, do you travel?

I am located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but am willing to travel to surrounding states. There will be an additional fee to be discussed during the consultation. If you have questions please refer to my contact form on client services page.

Do I have to travel to you? or Will you work onsite?

Makeup trial appointments are held at my home studio and the rest of other appointments will be on site. I always travel to my bride’s venue or location for weddings and same with other clients for their events.

However, depending on location of site: travel fees will apply.

  • I do charge my travel fee based upon the current year IRS Mileage Rate. This is covered in a discussion prior to booking.

Are you able to do bridesmaids’ or family members’ makeup?

Absolutely! I often do makeup application for other members during a wedding IF given enough time to get everyone ready. If by chance there is not enough time, I would recommend hiring a second makeup artist. I have helped brides look for a second artist to assist me before. If that is something you are interested in do let me know! All application services must be paid first before I start on the clients.

How do you transition from one client to the next?

I always take a few minutes to sanitize my metal tools and hands during my set up and in between clients. I never use the same brushes on different clients! All dirty brushes will be separated from the clean ones and occasionally I will spot clean the clean brushes. Cream and liquid products will never be double dipped. You will notice me scraping products onto a metal palette. I make sure to have a trash can close by so I can throw away all disposables even for just one client.

FAQs

Please read through all work procedure FAQs, should you have further questions I am open to discussion during your consultation.

Do you have experience working with ethnic, mature, sensitive, or acne prone skin?

Yes! I have worked with many skin types, skin conditions, and skin tones. Please don’t worry that I will not have your shade or be able to match you. My kit includes all sorts of products to help me achieve the best look for you! Of course, if you are not sure, I do offer makeup trial sessions too that I am more than welcome to do.

What should I do before the date of my appointment?

Please come to the appointment with no makeup and a cleansed face. You may wear a moisturizer if you need to but it is not necessary.

  • For better application you can also exfoliate your skin the day before and moisturize. This helps to remove dead skin cells on the skin and will prolong makeup wear for your occasion. Feel free to ask me if you would like some help!

How long does the make up application take?

Makeup application usually takes 45-50 minutes and 5-10 minutes in between clients to clean up and sanitize. Every client I work on will be different due to different skin conditions and needs.

What kind of products do you use?

My kit products range from low end (drugstore) to high end products. I don’t believe that just because products and brands are expensive means that it is the best. I like to use products that have worked for me for years and I believe that works well for my clients. I try to keep versatile and universal products for all skin types and tones. Some brands that I love in my kit are: Maybelline, Dior, MAC, Too Faced, Tarte, Morphe, Sephora, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and many more! Of course, I do love trying out new products also!

Covid-19 & Sanitation Guidelines

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY!

Sanitation is one of the most important parts of my business as a professional makeup artist and is something I invest in to make sure I can provide the cleanest and most hygienic service possible. Due to the recent pandemic of COVID-19 also, here are some guidelines I abide by to keep you and myself safe. When providing my service to you as the client, your location will become my work environment and it is my responsibility to keep it under control for my safety due to the nature of my work. I appreciate all my clients for understanding and agreeing to these policies.

01 — Right to refuse service

  • I will maintain the right to refuse any service that I feel may impact the health and safety of myself and my clients.

02 — Face Mask & Hygeine

  • I will arrive with and wear a face mask at all times. When clients arrive at home studio for any service, I will wear a face mask after greeting them and before proceeding to the service.

  • Before I begin any service, I will wash my hands and use sanitizer before and after every client.

03 — Tools & Products: Disposable/Cleaning

  • All non-disposable tools and products will be sanitized with alcohol spray before each client. Pencils and lipsticks will be sanitized with alcohol and wipe/sharpener before direct use on the client.

  • All disposable tools will be used for makeup applications at all times if possible. All used brushes will be placed away and in a separate container from fresh clean brushes to prevent cross contamination to products or different clients.

  • If needed in an emergency, any used brushes will be deep spot cleaned and sanitized with Cinema Secrets brush cleaner and alcohol before using on a different client.

04 — FOR CLIENTS

  • Please wash and sanitize your hands before being seated in the makeup artist’s chair.

  • You may provide any personal makeup products to me to apply during the service, such as a personal lip product. This is highly recommended for you may need touch ups throughout the night already.

  • Please avoid using your phone while during the service and our conversations will be limited in order to proceed with a time schedule accordingly.

  • Please do not touch any products owned by the makeup artist unless given permission to.
